Dr. Robert Teng-Fang Wu offers a series of workshops that encompass a wide range of current topics in TCM. In these workshops, Dr. Wu will provide in-depth discussions of symptoms and diseases (e.g. sinusitis, frozen shoulder, small vision, sports injuries, gynecological disease…etc) commonly seen in the TCM practice and suggest appropriate acupuncture, tui-na, or herbal medicine treatment specific to these illnesses.
You will also have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with the state-of-the-art iridology diagnosis instrument (Iriscope) and software. This will help you motivate yourself to incorporate iridology into your own practice. By employing such technique, you will strengthen the accuracy of your diagnosis. Iridology, the study of the iris of the eye, is a type of diagnostic technique that allows you to evaluate the patients’ health conditions based on the patterns, colors, markings and other characteristics of the iris. Therefore, in Iridology, the eyes are believed to be the windows to the body's state of health.
In this TCM Iridology workshop series, you will learn how to incorporate this new type of diagnostic modality into your clinic from Dr. Robert Wu, one of the very few who is proficient in both Iridology and TCM. Dr. Wu is going to share with you the invaluable knowledge of how to integrate iris diagnosis into diagnosing TCM conditions. He will also demonstrate how to utilize herbal formulas and acupuncture treatments in order to maximize the treatment results.
